In the era of specialized chip design, where demand is high and complexity is increasing; many hardware modeling frameworks such as Chisel [1], PyMTL [2], SpinalHDL [3] which exploit programming language to generate hardware model. these tools are powerful for hardware generation and simulation. In addition, hardware simulation indispensable for verification, profiling, and debugging.Unfortunatly, as the best of our knowledge, in simulation part, there is few works that provide deep analyzed of its nature and its methodology. This study aimed to provides critical insights into the nature of hardware simulation workloads, focusing on performance optimization and resource utilization. By analyzing these characteristics, we develop novel techniques to significantly enhance simulator performance. These approaches are demonstrated through a conceptual cycle-accurate hardware simulator specifically built for C++ hardware modeling framework.
