Admissibility criterion for T-S fuzzy descriptor systems with time-varying delays using free-matrix-based integral inequality

This paper proposes an admissibility criterion for T-S fuzzy descriptor systems with time-varying delays. By employing the state decomposition method, the system is separated into differential and algebraic parts, reducing the use of redundant matrix variables and simplifying computations. In order to reduce the conservatism of admissibility criterion, free-matrix-based integral inequality which handles the enhanced quadratic term within the single integral term is utilized. The condition for admissibility is expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and the numerical examples illustrate that the increased maximum allowable delay bounds can be obtained by our proposed method.
