Electrical load Identification Using V-I trajectory and Power analysis Decision

This research aims to identify the characteristics of electrical equipment by using voltage (V), current (I), and power analysis. Using V-I trajectory shape and power factor as reference data, the voltage and current signals obtained from measurements are processed through wavelet denoising and normalization. Then, a support vector machine (SVM) is used to separate and classify the electrical equipment together with the power factor. The process involves separating the V-I trajectory shapes of the lamp, fan, and notebook to enable identification. After identifying the shape characteristics of the lamp and fan, the power factor is used to support the decision-making process. In the notebook part, the non-linear shape is different from the previous load, so the shape can be clearly separated. Although the elliptical and non-linear shapes of the lamp, fan, and notebook overlap, the V-I trajectory shape, combined with the power factor, can be used for effective separation and identification.
