SKRIPSI DAN SPIRITUALITAS : KETERKAITAN KESEJAHTERAAN SPIRITUAL DENGAN RESILIENSI PADA MAHASISWA AKHIR

This study aims to examine the relationship between spiritual well-being and resilience in final-year students working on their thesis, a phase often marked by significant academic pressure. Final-year students frequently experience stress and difficulties during the thesis-writing process, which is a graduation requirement. Spiritual well-being is considered a protective factor that contributes to an individual’s ability to remain resilient under academic stress. This study employed a quantitative approach with 134 final-year undergraduate Psychology students as participants. The instruments used were the Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS) and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC). Data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation, yielding a significance value (p) = 0.000 (< 0.05) and a correlation coefficient (r) = 0.724, indicating a strong positive relationship between the two variables. Specifically, this research distinguishes the correlations of two SWB dimensions religious and existential and finds that the existential dimension has a stronger relationship with resilience than the religious dimension. These findings provide practical implications for student resilience interventions, highlighting the importance of fostering meaning and purpose in life alongside strengthening religious aspects.
