Associated factors with the access to sexual health and STI/HIV services for individuals aged 18 and older in the Marrakech-Safi region of Morocco: a cross-sectional study
Our research demonstrates that although age and gender significantly affect access to sexual health services, adherence to gender norms does not influence access to sexual health or STI/HIV services. This departure from trends in other regions highlights the unique socio-cultural dynamics of the Marrakech Safi region. Therefore, it is essential to address these challenges with dedicated public health strategies, policy reforms, and educational initiatives to ensure equitable access to health services and enhance overall health outcomes.
