Subwavelength beam shift at the reflection of orbital angular momentum-induced beam generated by vortex retarder

Subwavelength beam shifts due to the spin-orbit interactions at the optical interface have been integral to studying lightmatter interactions. Recently, some findings suggested that Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM)-carrying beams offer advantages for detecting the Spin Hall Effect of Light (SHEL) shift due to the direct amplification provided by the topological charge. In this work, an OAM-induced beam is generated by a vortex retarder, a polarization-dependent optical element that transforms a Gaussian beam into a vortex beam. This work presents the experimental observation of the subwavelength beam shift at the reflection of the OAM-induced beam generated by the polarization-dependent vortex retarder. This resulted in a deeper understanding of how the beam shift occurs in a vortex beam produced by a polarizationdependent element.
