MEDIATIZATION OF REALITY AS A FACTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LEXICAL SYSTEM

The article shows the specifics of the formation of lexemes with the media component (media-, -media, -media-) as representatives of the modern media environment. On the basis of factual material compiled on the basis of a sample from the Ukrainian Internet sector, scientific sources and lexicographical works, the process of neosemantization of the media component is traced ― from «intermediary» to a broad meta-concept for the modern media environment.
