Solar Power-Based Multitasking Agricultural Robot

This paper presents a comprehensive design and implementation of a solar-powered, multitasking agricultural robot aimed at revolutionizing modern farming practices through automation and precision. Utilizing an Arduino UNO microcontroller, the robot is equipped with an array of sensors, including ultrasonic, infrared, and soil moisture sensors, to autonomously navigate agricultural terrains, detect obstacles, and monitor soil conditions in real-time. The primary focus is on optimizing seed sowing operations to ensure accurate and consistent seed placement, which is critical for maximizing crop yield and efficiency. The robot operates by leveraging its sensors to gather environmental data, which is then processed to make real-time decisions about navigation and task execution. The ultrasonic sensors measure distances to avoid obstacles, while the infrared sensors guide the precise dropping of seeds. The soil moisture sensors continuously monitor the soil's water content, ensuring seeds are sown in optimal conditions. Powered by solar energy, the robot promotes sustainable agricultural practices by reducing dependency on non-renewable energy sources. This integration of renewable energy not only makes the robot eco-friendly but also cost-effective for farmers. By automating labor-intensive tasks, the robot significantly reduces the need for manual labor, allowing farmers to allocate their time and resources more efficiently.
