Abstract

This paper delves into the transformative potential of educational robotics in online education, particularly in enhancing students’ critical thinking skills. By leveraging the dynamic platform of educational robotics, students can engage in interactive activities that foster essential 21st-century skills. Drawing from current literature and case studies, the paper underscores the effectiveness of robotics in promoting active learning and student engagement in virtual environments. The study also employs sentiment analysis to underscore further the positive impact of these tools on student learning experiences. The study concludes with practical recommendations for integrating robotics into online curricula, strongly emphasising adapting these tools to diverse learning environments. The sentiment analysis of educational robotics yielded a positive sentiment score, with a net sentiment score of 4, indicating a general positive response. The model effectively differentiated between positive and negative sentiments, demonstrating its reliability in analysing user feedback. This adaptability of educational robotics not only ensures inclusivity but also inspires hope for the future of online education, making educators and policymakers feel inspired and hopeful about the future of online education.
