An Overview of Green Internet of Things for Sustainable Development
With the enhancement in the field of Science and Communication Technology, various things such as watches, computers, trains, cars, mobile phones, etc. are interconnected with each other for data transmission among them. This technology of interconnected things for data transmission is referred to as IoT. But, now a days, there is a rise in the number of connected devices, and their energy consumption levels also increase day by day, also these devices emit a lot of Carbon into our environment and hence pollute our environment. Thus, for the reduction in energy consumption and eco-friendly IOT, a new technology referred to as GREEN IoT, is discussed in the paper. Also, the review of various papers on the GREEN IoT is performed for a better understanding of various new methods, and technologies introduced for the reduction in energy consumption in IoT environment, also which reduces end-to-end delay, and loss of data packets during the transmission from source to receiver in the WSN (wireless sensor network) for Green IoT.
