CNN-Powered Mobile Based Ayurvedic Plant Identification and Leaf Disease Detection
Medicinal plants are another good source for different types of natural compounds and ayurveda as an Indian traditional medicine also uses a lot of medicinal plants with their nutritive, therapeutic values. Unlike synthetic drugs that may have side effects when taken for long periods, medicinal plants provide a more comprehensive holistic approach to health and well-being. At the same time, it is difficult for laymen to identify these plants and classify them as healthy. Here, we introduce a mobile application using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to assist ayurvedic Plants Identification and leaf disease Detection. A system to identify Plant leaves and Diagnosis of Diseases from the medicinal properties. A CNN model was trained on a comprehensive and varied dataset of ayurvedic plant leaves and their probable diseases, making it discriminate different plant species and recognize the emergence symptoms related to fungal infections, bacterial spots, nutrient deficiencies. The model is incorporated into a portable user-friendly mobile application which makes the health assessment of any ayurvedic crop vegetation practical and determines their legitimacy directly encouraging natural remedy with confidence and more accurately.
