Assessment of Teacher's Information Technology Application Ability: Constructing the Event Evolutionary Graph Based on Teaching Behavior
The rapid development of learning analytics technology provides effective support for teaching behavior analysis. From the perspective of learning analysis, the article first reviews and summarizes the definition and composition of the event evolutionary graph, and defines its application in assessing teachers’ information technology application ability. Then, the article used lag sequential analysis to explore the associations among teaching behaviors, behavioral sequence transformations and classroom teaching "key events". Finally, the article constructs the event evolutionary graph for the assessment of teachers' information technology application ability through the three stages: event representation, relationship extraction, characterization and analysis. This application of event evolutionary graph for the assessment of teachers' IT application ability can provide a development direction and feasible path for the improvement of the ability and offer reference for promoting the construction of the teacher team in an informatization environment.
