Mist Fair Storage Distribution in Sensor Networks Using a Game Theoretic Approach
The increasing quantity of sensor networks being used in various applications necessitates fair and efficient management of storage resources. Because processing and storage resources are stretched to the edge of the network in a mist computing environment, equitable storage distribution becomes even more crucial. This article explores the use of game theory to provide fair storage allocation in sensor networks operating under mist computing paradigms. In order to maximize network performance and fairness, sensor nodes cooperate to establish storage allocation strategies in our cooperative game model of the storage distribution problem. Theoretical research and simulations validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in achieving equitable storage distribution while optimizing the overall value of the network.
