Stability Enhancement of One-Cycle Controlled Boost PFC Converters with a Composite Function Embedded
It has been verified that boost power factor correction (PFC) converters exhibit non-linear behaviors as the circuit parameters change. These non - linear phenomena can have an impact on the converters' performance. In this research paper, a one-cycle control (OCC) approach with an embedded composite function is put forward to improve the system's stability. The traditional OCC is refined by integrating a composite function into it. As a result, the stability characteristics of the system are significantly improved. The simulation outcomes reveal that, when compared with the conventional OCC, the proposed OCC with the embedded composite function has a broader stable parameter range. This effectively postpones the onset of instability issues, which validates the efficacy and advantage of the proposed control strategy.
