SAR Jamming Effect Evaluation Method Based on Gabor Filter Modification
The evaluation of Synthetic Aperture Radar jamming effect is a key means to measure the reliability of jamming effect, and has important guiding significance for the selection of jamming strategies and jamming styles. Traditional SAR image evaluation indicators only focus on mathematical statistics of pixel errors, and do not consider the correlation between pixels and the perceptual characteristics of the human visual system (HVS), resulting in subjective and objective inconsistencies from time to time. In view of this, this paper innovatively proposes a new evaluation method. This method incorporates the Structural Similarity (SSIM) index, thereby establishing a connection between the subjective perception of the human eye and the objective quality of the image. Meanwhile, the Gabor filter is utilized to extract the texture features of SAR images. The results of edge extraction are employed to adjust the weight of SSIM. Subsequently, a new evaluation algorithm for SAR jamming effects is derived. Experimental verification shows that this method not only has a high degree of consistency with traditional evaluation indicators when evaluating SAR jamming effects, but also can keenly identify the texture features in the image, fully conforms to the human visual perception characteristics, and provides a more scientific and effective approach for evaluating SAR jamming effects.
