A Novel Joint Scheduling Algorithm for Dynamic Heterogeneous Systems
Mimic defense technology represents a novel proactive defense paradigm that transforms unknown security threats into generalized robust control problems, thereby enhancing the resilience of information systems. The mimic scheduler acts as the cornerstone of system defense; however, most existing scheduling algorithms are independently designed based on isolated factors such as scheduling objects, time, or quantity, neglecting the holistic nature of defense mechanisms. To address this gap, this paper proposes a Joint Scheduling Algorithm (JSA) that holistically considers scheduling objects, timing, and quantity. The algorithm first defines a reliability metric incorporating heterogeneity level, high-order heterogeneity, historical confidence, and security risk, then leverages this metric to conduct joint scheduling across multiple defense dimensions. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed JSA outperforms existing mimic defense scheduling algorithms in terms of security efficacy, showcasing its superiority in holistic defense optimization.
