Fast tuning method of resonant converter based on charge control
Resonant converters are favored in modern power systems for their high efficiency and compact design. However, traditional control strategies often exhibit sluggish dynamic responses to rapid load changes or input voltage fluctuations, compromising system stability. This paper introduces a fast regulation method for resonant converters based on charge control. By continuously monitoring variations in output voltage and current, the proposed method enables real-time adjustments to the converter's operating state, facilitating swift transitions to steady-state conditions. Compared to conventional voltage-mode control, the charge-mode approach offers a more rapid response to system disturbances, significantly enhancing dynamic performance. The paper analyzes the operational principles of the charge control strategy, develops its mathematical model, and designs a corresponding control algorithm. Simulation and experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, demonstrating its potential for applications requiring rapid dynamic responses.
