At present, digital technology is being fully integrated into all fields and the entire process of the modernization of China, and it is profoundly influencing the concepts and methods of ideological and political education (IPE) in higher education institutions. The combination of "digital technology+IPE" has become a new model of innovation and development for curriculum-based IPE in universities. Capitalizing on the provincial online first-class course platform, Our school has carried out the reform and practice of integrating IPE into the Marketing Course. By clarifying the goals of IPE, precisely designing the integration points of ideological and political elements, systematically constructing teaching resources of IPE, innovating teaching methods, and optimizing the assessment system, the university has deeply embedded ideological and political elements into both the theoretical and practical components of the course. This reform not only effectively enhances students' professional competence but also subtly strengthens their sense of social responsibility, professional ethics and awareness, thereby achieving the educational goal of cultivating virtue and talent. Meanwhile, this study provides valuable references and insights for the construction of IPE in the Marketing Course and explores new pathways for the reform of IPE in specialized courses in higher education institutions.
