Dual-channel cryogenic ground-based microwave radiometer design
This paper introduces the design and technical approach of a new dual-channel ground-based cryogenic microwave radiometer, MWR-120-CryoCFE, which aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of atmospheric remote sensing measurements. The MWR-120-CryoCFE radiometer is a microwave receiver equipped with a cryogenic cooling front end. The operating temperature is 77 K and the operating frequency is lower than 120 GHz. The radiometer is mainly used for simultaneous measurement of ozone and carbon monoxide molecules in the stratosphere and mesosphere. The design of the microwave radiometer is improved to solve the shortcomings of existing equipment in sensitivity, calibration accuracy and simultaneous measurement of multi-molecules.
