Research on the Design and Iterative Optimization of Immersive Virtual Reality Learning Scenarios
This study adapted Design-Based research methodology to construct and refine an immersive Virtual Reality Learning Scenarios. By integrating the theoretical model of "Meaningful Immersive Learning Framework" (M-IVR-L) and the "Multiuser Immersive Learning Scenarios"(ILS), it proposed five core features: multi-level interaction, immersive experience, generative strategies, constructive activities, and reflective guidance. The study validated the effectiveness of the design through three iterative cycles and a combination of qualitative and quantitative evaluations. The results showed that the optimized learning scenario promoted knowledge application and spurred deeper student reflection. The study stressed that iterative optimization in virtual reality instruction is crucial, as continuous improvement can enhance educational outcomes. These findings deepen the understanding of using immersive technology to boost learning experiences in educational settings.
