Blockchain Empowering the Efficient Management of Dynamic Educational Data

In the context of educational data management, blockchain can offer significant advantages by persistently recording digital digests, making tampering easily detectable and traceable. However, educational data is often dynamically updated, requiring corresponding digital digests on the blockchain to change accordingly in order to maintain tamper-proof verification. The challenge lies in achieving efficient re-computation of these digital digests. This paper addresses this challenge by proposing a blockchain-based approach to the efficient management of dynamic educational data. Specifically, we introduce the use of a homomorphic hash algorithm to generate on-chain digital digests, allowing re-computation without retrieving and traversing the entire dataset, which significantly improves efficiency. Additionally, we apply the discrete logarithm problem to ensure the unforgeability of educational data. Our proposed method is evaluated through both theoretical analysis and simulation experiments, demonstrating its effectiveness in enhancing the security and efficiency of dynamic educational data management.
