Optimization Scheduling Method for Microgrids Considering a Demand-Side Response
Microgrid, as an emerging concept in power systems, has broad application prospects. Its development enables the integration and utilization of renewable energy, enhances the flexibility and reliability of power systems, and optimizes energy management and scheduling. This paper first introduces the structure of the microgrid system under study and provides a detailed explanation of the principles and characteristics of wind power generation, photovoltaic generation, and battery storage, establishing their mathematical models. Additionally, the principles and characteristics of the concepts of demand response based on pricing and demand response based on incentives are clearly explained. Based on the characteristics of price-based demand response, a microgrid optimization scheduling model considering price-based demand response is proposed. Finally, the microgrid optimization scheduling model considering pricebased demand response was solved. In three scenarios-without considering demand response, and with price-based demand response-the total costs were 1816.1 yuan and 1805.3 yuan, respectively.
