A Power Dispatching Optimization Method of Virtual Power Plants Considering Electric Vehicle Load Aggregation
Electric Vehicles (EVs) offer advantages in energy saving, emission reduction, and environmental protection. However, the large-scale integration of EVs can negatively impact the power grid. Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) can aggregate various distributed energy sources and controllable loads. The inclusion of distributed energy and EV load aggregation increases the complexity of VPP-coordinated operations. In this study, a VPP model is developed, the characteristics of EV load aggregation are analysed, and an optimization model considering EV load aggregation is established. The results indicate that integrating EV load aggregation into demand response not only meets the energy needs of EV users but also reduces the impact of EV charging on the VPP during peak hours, improving both the economic efficiency and operational stability of the VPP.
