The pervasive use of technology in academic settings has led to a growing concern about technostress a form of stress induced by information technology, among university students. This study aimed to this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of desensitization techniques, including cognitive restructuring, mindfulness practices and time management strategies, in reducing technostress and enhancing the quality of life of life among undergraduate students. A randomized controlled trial was conducted with 60 participants, who were assigned to either an intervention group or a control group. The results showed that the intervention group exhibited a significant reduction in technostress levels and improvement in quality of life compared to the control group. The findings suggest that the desensitization techniques can be an effective intervention in managing technostress and promoting student well-being in the digital age. The study’s results have implications for the development of targeted interventions and support services to mitigate the negative effects of technostress on student mental health of students and their academic performance.
