Improving Green Energy Access in a Conventional Hybrid Microgrid by Integrating MPPT-Enabled Wind Generator
A conventional hybrid microgrid proficiently amalgamates renewable energy sources, encompassing photovoltaic (PV) systems and permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) wind power generators. While it may be alluring to presume that the variables affecting power generation from a hybrid microgrid remain constant under optimal conditions, the actuality is markedly different; all these determinants are susceptible to fluctuation. Among these variables, the variability of wind speed is crucial in ascertaining the power output of the hybrid microgrid during islanded operational mode. With the employment of an MPPT-integrated wind generator, it is possible to greatly lessen the negative impacts caused by variations in wind speed.
