A Novel Framework for Safeguarding Individual Rights in Smart City Development
Currently, smart cities are being developed in various countries as a reflection of economic growth and as a model for progress. Specific cities are selected and transformed into smart cities. However, during this transformation, the privacy of individuals residing in these cities can sometimes come into question. To address and prevent such issues, we propose a novel framework designed with six layers, each functioning with unique features. As smart cities evolve, this Cyber Security, Citizen Engagement, Smart Mobility, Social Support, Environmental Sustainability, Data Privacy (C2S2ED) framework intended to ensure that the rights of individuals within these cities remain protected. We have also compared our proposed solutions with previously suggested research papers, demonstrating that our approach performs more effectively and efficiently in safeguarding individual rights while fostering the development of smart cities.
