Active Evaluation and Intelligent Trust Mechanism with Collision Aware Routing in Vehicular Adhoc Networks
Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANETs) are well thought-out as a separation mobile network and currently it occupies the field of transportation. The major core characteristics of VANETs is that it has high speed vehicles with rapid topology changes and it becomes a highly challenging task to attain effective communication with frequent link disconnections. In earlier days several routing protocols developed to solve this dilemma but it is in open research because using those routing methods the vehicles produce delay and overhead. With the intention of solving this issue in this article Active Evaluation and Intelligent Trust Mechanism with Collision Aware Routing (AITCA) is developed concentrates on trust model, route selection and particle swarm optimization (PSO) based collision reduction. To perform effective communication among the vehicles, the path selection to transfer the data has to be trust worthy so that the process will be stable. For that purpose, this intelligent trust mechanism is introduced so that the route selection is performed in a highly trusted way. On the other hand, to reduce the delay, the collision avoidance is performed using the PSO optimization process. As the whole this method is the perfect package to produce high quality in communication among the vehicles. The implementation of the proposed AITCA is presented in NS2 network simulator. In the output evaluation it is observed that the proposed AITCA attained 10% higher delivery ratio, 50 ms lower delay, 100 packets lower routing overhead and 230 kbps higher throughput.
