River Water Quality Realtime Monitoring in Bandung City Using LoRaWAN
River water quality needs to be monitored in real-time to know the latest developments about the pollution that occurs, whether it has an impact on microorganisms and fish in the river, and also the ecosystem of the river as a whole. This research applies LoRaWAN as one of the Internet of Things (IoT) modules that have good capabilities in terms of transmitting data over long distances. The sensors monitored are water pH, Dissolved Oxygen Sensor, Turbidity Sensor, Water Temperature, and also ultrasonic sensors to determine the distance or height of water that will potentially lead to flooding. This article not only focuses on Terrestrial communication but also approaches Non-Terrestrial Communication, LoRaWAN Communication Satellite, specifically on real-time sensor data in river monitoring.
