AI-Driven Robotics and IoT for Advanced Precision Orchard Management
Improved orchard management is essential for maximizing fruit production and promoting sustainable agriculture. With Reinforcement Learning (RL), this paper presents an advanced system that integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT) for precise orchard management. Pruning, harvesting, and health monitoring are just a few of the important orchard chores, and our proposed solution incorporates autonomous robotic systems with IoT sensors. Through constant environmental contact, the RL algorithm allows these robots to learn and adapt to different orchard circumstances. The RL method enhances operational accuracy over time by optimizing decision-making processes via incentives for efficient acts and penalties for inefficient ones. The RL model can make well-informed judgments and perform dynamic strategy adjustments due to the real-time data provided by the IoT infrastructure on environmental conditions and plant health. Because of this integration, robotic movements can understand their environment and adapt to the unique requirements of each orchard. The usefulness of the system in improving accuracy, decreasing resource utilization, and boosting total production has been shown in experimental tests. The operational efficiency of the AI-driven robotics system is far higher than that of conventional approaches. More sustainable and fruitful agricultural systems to transform orchard management techniques.
