Experimental Study on the Utilization of IIR Filter for Efficient Audio Signal Processing
This research highlights the role of Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters in audio signal processing, focusing on their efficiency in tasks such as equalization, noise reduction, and audio effects like reverb and echo. By using feedback and past inputs, IIR filters achieve effective filtering with fewer coefficients than FIR filters. The study explores their mathematical foundations, design methods, and practical applications, emphasizing their importance in modern audio technologies. The implementation of IIR-based noise reduction systems further demonstrates their ability to enhance sound quality by removing unwanted noise and adjusting frequency content.
