An Effectual Approach for Mobility and Traffic Monitoring Based VANET’s Routing Protocol in Urban Environment
Vehicular Adhoc Network (VANETs) are one among the high-speed communicating technology and to adapt the randomly and frequent changing network topology a robust routing algorithm is required. In the earlier timeslots of routing protocols have been developed and many of them are not effective enough to meet the requirements of vehicular communication. Those routing protocol are not developed in terms of intelligent decision-making capabilities to select the routing path or choosing immediate next best path to reduce the network delay. To overcome this dilemma, in the article Effectual Approach for Mobility and Traffic Monitoring based VANET’s Routing Protocol (EMTM-VANETs) is proposed which concentrates on effective mobility model, congestion control, hybrid routing and traffic management system. To generate vehicles random mobility here Manhattan mobility model that can able to create high speed mobility for the vehicles. To provide effective congestion control the location, speed and direction of the vehicles are considered. In terms of vehicles hybrid routing (VHR) effective communication can be attain and to management the vehicle high speed mobility a separate system is incorporated with it. As the whole this proposed EMTM-VANETs is a perfect to handle the vehicles in the urban environment. To compare the results to the baseline research the methods which are considered are AMRD-VANETs and HCOA-VANETs. From the final outcome it is observed that the proposed EMTM-VANETs attain 19% higher delivery ratio, 130 ms lower end to end delay, 300 kbps higher throughput and 9% higher energy efficiency than others.
