Anger as a Form of Inner Conflict in the Main Character in Naruto The Movie: Road to Ninja

This study analyzes the form of anger as a form of inner conflict in the main character Naruto Uzumaki in Naruto the Movie: Road to Ninja using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory (id, ego, superego). Descriptive qualitative method is applied by examining dialog, scenes, and psychological dynamics of the characters. The results show that the main character's anger is a form of inner conflict that occurs within him due to the misalignment between the false reality created by the antagonist and his desires and moral values. This inner conflict occurs due to the dominance of id (aggressive impulses), ego (rational arbiter), and superego (moral norms) in various situations. This research can enrich the understanding and insight into the representation of Freudian psychology in literary works.
