Experimental Study on the Heating Performance of Electric Port with Surface Patterning
Energy efficiency is emerging as an important topic in the modern society. This study analyzed the change in heat transfer efficiency by applying various pattern processing methods with the aim of improving the heating performance of electric ports. The findings reveal that a 0.3 mm concentric circle pattern significantly improved heating performance, while other patterns show reduced efficiency due to factors like trapped air pockets, thermal resistance, and impurities from the patterning process. The research results emphasize that the selection of surface patterns is an important design variable in the design of heat exchangers and suggest specific design directions for optimizing heat transfer performance.
