Research on Emission Level Assessment of Heavy-Duty Vehicle Fleets Based on Remote Monitoring
Heavy-duty fleet emissions present a critical environmental challenge in the transportation sector demanding immediate resolution. A scientific evaluation of heavy-duty fleet emission levels underpins the effective management and control of these emissions. Leveraging remote monitoring data, this study presents a methodology for evaluating heavy-duty fleet emission levels via a fleet star-rating mechanism that integrates the fleet’s average emission factor, high-risk emission factor, operational condition emission factor, and total emissions to deliver a overall assessment. These findings support governments and pertinent agencies in understanding the comprehensive emission profiles of their commercial fleets and offer robust, effective methodological guidance for regional ecological and environmental monitoring.
