USE AND AWARENESS OF E RESOURCES AMONG THE POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS OF RANCHI UNIVERSITY, RANCHI, JHARKHAND: A STUDY

This study examines how postgraduate students at Ranchi University in Jharkhand are aware of and utilize e-resources, emphasizing changing user habits and systemic obstacles.Although usage frequency varies by gender, the results show no discernible gender-based differences in awareness ( = 0.068, p = 0.405).The majority of students use their homes to access e-resources, highlighting the trend toward flexible, remote learning settings.Fewer kids benefited from official orientation programs, and the majority said they learned about e-resources from their teachers and peers.E-resources are commonly used for research (83.5%), assignments (86.8%), and general reading (91.7%),demonstrating their significance in academia.Major obstacles, however, include low digital literacy (80.5%), interface issues (93.5%), and content limits (96.7%), which are echoed in earlier research on e-resource integration.
