COSMIC RAY INTENSITY TRENDS DURING SOLAR CYCLE 24
The primary objective of this study is to examine the trend of CRI in relation to various solar activity parameters. Our analysis reveals a strong and inverse correlation between CRI and both the SSN and the F10.7 cm solar radio flux index. These findings highlight the well-known anti-correlation between cosmic rays and solar activity levels. In contrast, the relationship between CRI and solar wind velocity (SW) during SolarCycle 24 appears to be weak and inconsistent. The solar wind showed no clear pattern over the years and exhibited poor correlation with CRI, SSN, and SFI.This irregularity may be attributed to significant anomalies in the interaction between CRI and solar activity indicators during this cycle.Overall, the results suggest that changes in cosmic ray intensity are predominantly influenced by variations in solar activity.
