Characterization and Evaluation of Stacked Patch Circularly Polarized Antenna for 5G n260 Applications

This manuscript presents a systematic exploration of circularly polarized (CP) antenna design tailored for optimal performance in the realm of $5 G$ applications. The proposed antenna utilizes a Rogers RT5880 substrate, meticulously crafted to proportions of $5 \mathrm{~mm} \times 5 \mathrm{~mm} \times 0.5$ mm. Through the integration of a rectangular cross-slot parasitic patch mounted on a foam spacer above the regular patch antenna configuration, a notable gain of 8.32 decibels isotropic (dBi) at 36.4 GHz is attained. This innovative design approach holds promise for future 5G applications, offering enhanced performance and adaptability to the evolving demands of wireless communication systems.
