Predictive Maintenance and Safety Alerts for Vehicles using IoT & AI - Driver Safety Kit

The main focus of the Driver Safety Kit (DSK) is the technology infrastructure in the research paper. Hardware settings, AI-based facial recognition procedures, and ML-powered drowsiness detection are some features used in the system, while the others are the combination of sensor data for alcohol detection. A close study of the DSK system, other than safety systems for drivers, reveals the DSK written through the paradigm does not only focus on the centerpiece, which is the incorporation of sensor data, but rather the improvements made to software in driver monitoring technologies (DMTs) are at a better magnitude.Additionally, the paper looks into matters such as sensor reliability in severe environmental conditions, the occurrence of wrong warnings for fatigue or alcohol detection, and real-time data collection and privacy concerns. The DSK is enabled with advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to learn, adapt, and get precise. These techniques are then employed to resolve the problems. Thus, the DSK becomes a catalyst for road safety, whereby it promotes the application of sustainable and energy-efficient approaches in traffic.
