Innovative Farming with Real-Time Internet of Things Data Classification using Machine Learning and Sensor Networks
Sustainable agriculture is rapidly rising and being integrated into farming practices through IoT and ML techniques due to the aforementioned global demands. Our study aims to devise an advanced farming system that utilizes real-time IoT data classification for efficient agricultural processes through machine learning algorithms using sensor networks. IoT-based sensor networks allow for the continuous monitoring of different environmental parameters such as soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and crop health, producing large volumes of data. This data is classified and analyzed in real-time using machine learning algorithms, enabling accurate decision-making and automation in farming processes. Data is processed and analyzed on these factors which aids in actionable insights that can help farmers to make better decisions in irrigation management, crop disease detection and yield prediction. The approach of Machine Learning is used to implement these advanced ML models like random forest, support vector machine (SVM), well deep learning neural networks can extract patterns and trends in data which are often missed by previous methods. Enabling predictive analytics through the integration of these technologies allows for proactive measures to adjust to changes in conditions, resulting in improved crop yields and resource utilization. The finding of this study showcases the possible role of IoT and ML in revolutionizing traditional farming practices to minimize the waste of resources, maximize output of harvest and promote sustainability. Moreover, it emphasizes the need for real time data processing as a requirement for modern agriculture that can lead to smart farming systems to fulfil food growth challenges posed by climate change, diminishing agricultural land and increasing food demand. Machine learning-based smart IoT solutions (or comprehensive solutions with IoT solutions) play an important role in the future of agriculture and could contribute to large-scale implementation in many farming scenarios around the world.
