A Novel Framework for Secure Color Image Encryption based on Quantum-Inspired Chromatic Diffusion with Dynamic Key Holography
Research areas such as medical imaging, military surveillance, and multimedia transmission require secure protection algorithms for sensitive color images due to the ever-increasing detail and importance of digital communication. This study aims to solve the problems of chaos-based, DNA, and optical encryption schemes with a sophisticated encryption architecture called Quantum-Inspired Chromatic Diffusion with Dynamic Key Holography (QICD-DKH).QICD-DKH employs quantum-inspired random walks for pixel diffusion, dynamic key cracking through chaotic Lorenz maps, and digital holographic interference for greater confusion. The scheme contains key generation through SHA-256, pixel diffusion by means of Quantum-Inspired Chromatic Diffusion, and chaotic scrambling by Arnold's cat map.The method has a keyspace of 704 bits, which is higher than that of AES-256, making brute-force attacks very difficult. The experimental results with USC-SIPI images show better MSE, PSNR, entropy, and correlation metrics. The captured images show entropy values near 8 and low correlation, which makes them resistant to statistical and differential attacks. The efficiency and strong security of the proposed approach make it suitable for practical applications in image encryption.
