Structure of the forests in Krasnoyarsk Krai

The forests of Krasnoyarsk Krai have extremely uneven area. Considering that, the authors used the median value in addition to average values for the study of forest structure. The distribution is based on the administrative division of districts and the total area of forest lands. The paper contains the detailed analysis performed for two land categories: burnt and cut down areas. The regression links were built between land categories and the total land area, as well as between land categories and forest lands. The equations can be used to determine "the average value" for a particular area of land category taking into account the total land area and the area of forest lands. The structure of the forests in Krasnoyarsk Krai is closely related to administrative zoning and the significant impact of anthropogenic, pyrogenic, biotic and technogenic factors.
