INTEGRATED MODEL OF «SMART CITY» AS A FACTOR OF DIGITALISATION AND ECOLOGICALLY BALANCED DEVELOPMENT: A SOCIO-PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS

The relevance of this topic is increasing in the context of growing global environmental crises, increasing urbanisation and the need to decarbonise economies. The purpose of the study: to develop and substantiate an integrated model of a digital city that can ensure effective digitalisation of managerial, socio-economic and environmental processes, taking into account the principles of sustainable development. The main objectives of the methodological approach are: 1) to identify the key components of a digital city (infrastructure, technology, management, ecological systems); 2) to study existing models of digital cities in the European and global context; 3) to identify the relationship between digitalisation and the ecologically balanced development of a digital city; 4) to propose an integrated model based on the results obtained. The methodological basis for the study of the formation of an integrated model of a digital city as a factor of digitalisation and ecologically balanced development is based on an interdisciplinary approach that combines elements of urban studies, digital technologies, ecology, sustainable development economics and the philosophy of digital culture. The article reveals the components of a digital city as a factor of digitalisation – a systemic set of infrastructural, technological, managerial, social, economic and environmental elements and processes that integrate and interact to ensure effective digital transformation of urban space. The article explores the concept of an integrated model of a digital city as a factor of digitalisation and ecologically balanced development, which represents a strategic direction of sustainable development in the context of urbanisation, digitalisation and climate challenges. The philosophical, social, ecological and technological foundations of the formation of an ecologically balanced urban space are revealed. A model that combines environmental planning, green infrastructure, digital solutions (‘smart city’) and an element of public participation is proposed. Particular attention is paid to the eco-ethical dimension and value orientations of digital humanism. The author substantiates the need for an interdisciplinary approach, synergy of various subjects of urban development and introduction of innovative tools for assessing and managing the urban environment.
