DIGITALIZATION OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR AS A TOOL FOR IMPLEMENTING GREEN TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CONTEXT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

In the current context of global climate change, depletion of natural resources and growing demand for food, the issue of introducing green technologies in agriculture is becoming extremely important. The article addresses the topical issue of the impact of digitalization on the introduction of green technologies in agriculture in order to ensure its sustainable development. Agriculture is one of the key sectors that both suffers from the consequences of environmental problems and has a significant impact on the environment. That is why the integration of environmentally friendly practices is a prerequisite for ensuring the sustainable development of the sector. The purpose of the article is to formulate an effective concept of digitalization of the agricultural sector as a tool for implementing green technologies in the context of sustainable development. Objectives of the article: 1) to identify the key digital tools that contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture; 2) to analyze the main types of green technologies in agricultural production; 3) to formulate practical recommendations for the integration of digital technologies into national agricultural environmental policy. Research methodology. The formation and development of organizations is studied using interdisciplinary approaches that include elements of sociology, psychology, economics, management and other sciences The current global and national challenges related to environmental safety, climate change and the need to transform the agricultural sector in accordance with the principles of the green economy are outlined. The potential of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, drones, and blockchain to increase the efficiency of natural resource use, reduce carbon emissions, and optimize production processes is analyzed. The results of recent research and international experience, including examples from China, the EU, and Ukraine, are presented, which demonstrate the close relationship between digital transformation and the implementation of environmentally friendly agricultural practices. Conclusions are drawn about the need for an integrated approach to integrating digital solutions into the agricultural management system to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
