FEATURES OF SELF-ORGANIZATION OF FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS OF A HUMANITARIAN UNIVERSITY DURING THE PERIOD OF ADAPTATION

The relevance of the study is explained by the need to find new approaches to the adaptation of first-year students of humanitarian universities during their adjustment to new learning conditions. Modern challenges of the educational environment (increasing academic workload, stressful situations, the need for independent time planning) are associated with increased research interest in the mechanisms of self-organization. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of self-organization of first-year students of a humanitarian university during the period of adaptation. The academic novelty of the study lies in the fact that it establishes the correlation of successful adaptation of first-year students to the level of formation of time management skills, the ability to reflect, and the willingness to apply individual strategies; it also identifies the problems of self-organization of first-year humanities students during the period of adaptation. The theoretical significance of the research lies in clarifying the definition of “selforganization”. A quantitative assessment of the tendency for self-organization of first-year students has been carried out. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that it develops and presents recommendations for the implementation of practices that promote the development of these skills, taking into account the results of empirical research: personalized tutoring, Time Designer training studio, digital assistant, milieu approach. The novelty of the envisaged actions is explained by a combination of personalization based on machine learning, a gender-oriented approach, the complexity of the impact (technological, psychological, milieu levels), the use of adaptive digital solutions, and gamification of the personal development process.
