NEUROEDUCAÇÃO APRESENTANDO OS CAMINHOS DA MEMÓRIA E APRENDIZAGEM

ABSTRACT As a cognitive function and a central element of human identity, memory plays a vital role in the construction of knowledge and individual and collective experience. Understanding memory pathways is crucial not only for understanding how we process and store information, but also for exploring its impact on our social interactions, cultural formation, and historical preservation. This article explores the importance of studying memory, its impact on various fields of knowledge, and how it affects individuals and society more broadly. Human memory can be understood through different interrelated systems and processes. Cognitive psychology has identified three main types of memory: sensory memory, short-term memory, and long-term memory. Each memory has unique characteristics that influence how information is acquired, retained, and retrieved. Understanding these mechanisms is crucial for improving educational methods, psychotherapy, and social interventions. Furthermore, recent studies have shown that neuroplasticity can alter neural circuits related to memory, opening new perspectives for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. In this sense, this literature review shows how Neuroeducation and memory are correlated, forming another foundation for educational development. Keywords: Neuroeducation, Memory, Education
