A METHODICAL APPROACH TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE ACCURACY OF HITTING OF HIGH WITH HIGH-PRECISION WEAPONS

The methodical approach to the analysis of the accuracy of strikes with high-precision weapons is considered in the article and involves a structured assessment process, which is based on mathematical models, statistical methods and takes into account physical and technical factors. During training or real combat operations, it is possible to collect data on the deviation of the points of impact of artillery shells or missiles from the target (for example, in meters). It is important to assess whether these deviations follow a normal distribution, and we use the chi-square test to check for normal distribution in order to better plan fire corrections and determine the accuracy of the weapon. Provided that the obtained value corresponds to the criterion, it can be concluded that the accuracy of the artillery is stable, and the deviations from the center correspond to a normal distribution. This confirms that the artillery system works predictably, and deviations are random, which is acceptable in combat conditions. The direction of further research is the creation of a scientifically based approach that provides a comprehensive analysis of the accuracy of high-precision weapons, which will increase its effectiveness and minimize the side effects of its use.
