[Advances in biopsy techniques for mediastinal lesions].
Accurate histopathological diagnosis is often required to guide the management of mediastinal lesions. In recent years, biopsy techniques for mediastinal lesions have developed rapidly, although surgical biopsy remains the gold standard. Endobronchial ultrasound-related techniques are becoming increasingly popular, as is percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy guided by imaging. Different biopsy techniques are applicable to different scenarios. This article aims to provide a comprehensive review of biopsy techniques for mediastinal lesions, summarizing recent advancements and development trends in this field.
