[Invasive tracheobronchial aspergillosis resulting in severe tracheal stenosis:a case report].
Invasive tracheobronchial aspergillosis (ITBA) is a relatively rare manifestation of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis(IPA), which usually occurrs in immunocompromised patients and with a fatal outcome. Here, we reported a 37-year-old immunocompetent male patient with psoriasis who was hospitalized for dyspnea. Bronchoscopy revealed pseudomembranous tracheobronchitis, and ITBA was subsequently confirmed pathologically. Despite receiving standardized antifungal therapy with voriconazole, the patient developed to severe airway stenosis. For ITBA, follow-up with bronchoscopy was necessary to exclude tracheal stenosis.
