On the Current Status and Possible Strategies for International Translation and Dissemination of “Lingnan New Literary Power” Works

“岭南文学新实力”作品凸显融合性、本土性和方言性等特质，深刻地折射出当下岭南的人文景观和文化动态。顺应中国文化产品“走出去”的潮流，应顺势推动新实力作品的对外译介，从而达到岭南文化的重新定位和文化传播，加强粤港澳大湾区的文化输出。有见及此，文章拟梳理“岭南文学新实力”作品的对外译介现状，在翻译传播学框架下，就发起、翻译、传输三个阶段提出改进举措，以期提升岭南文学外译的接收效果，传播中国声音。“Lingnan New Literary Power” works exemplify distinctive traits such as hybridity, nativism, and dialectal richness, profoundly reflecting the contemporary humanistic landscape and cultural dynamics of the Lingnan region. Aligning with China’s “going global” initiative for cultural products, it is imperative to promote the international translation and dissemination of these works, thereby repositioning Lingnan culture for broader cultural transmission and strengthening the Greater Bay Area’s cultural influence. In light of this, this study examines the current status of overseas translation for “Lingnan New Literary Power” works and proposes, within the framework of Translation Communication Theory, actionable measures in the process of initiation, translation, and dissemination to optimize the global reception of Lingnan literature, thus amplifying China’s cultural voice on the world stage.
