Protein-derived carbon-supported Ni–Mo bimetallic catalysts with dual-active interfaces for mild hydrogenation of nitroarenes

The NiN x /MoC dual-site active interface enables the Ni–MoC/NC700 catalyst to achieve highly efficient hydrogenation of nitroarenes (>99% conversion, >95% selectivity) to aromatic amino compounds under mild conditions (90 °C, 5 bar H 2 ).
